A replacement hardwood sill was installed using Blackbutt timber. Blackbutt is a sustainable plantation timber, that derives its name from the trees natural resistance to fire, that leaves it black after bush fires .
Repair-Care epoxy resin was used to bond the timber joints, ensuring a permanent repair job. The durability of this epoxy resin product is exceptional and is warrantied against failure for 20 years when used by us, as an accredited repair company.
